Everyone loves a good steak (except our vegan friends.) There's something about biting into a juicy, perfectly cooked piece of meat. Pair it with a baked potato, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or buttered asparagus; my mouth is watering just thinking of it. I want to share with you my favorite places to get the best steaks in Cabo.
5- Rodizio
Open from 4 pm to 11 pm, they're a Brazilian concept with all-you-can-eat. You spend about $30 USD, and boy does it stretch far. Everything is top-notch, the service, drinks, and we don't even have to mention the steak. What sets them apart? All you can eat!
4- La Pampa
Open daily from 2 pm to 11 pm. This Argentinian restaurant is dark and moody; it's the perfect place to sit with your glass of wine, killer empanadas, and juicy steak. Though their kitchen is Argentinian, they have wine from all over the world, a vast selection with something for everyone.
3- Ardea
A part of the Nobu Hotel, you know this is an experience you won't forget. Everything about this place is thought out down to the last grain of salt. They fire-cook their meat, hand-craft their cocktails, have an award-winning wine program, and well, everyone knows brick-oven pizzas; they have a clay oven that gives their pizzas an even more special flavor. They take their inspiration from local ingredients and the Chef's roots, Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, born in Japan.
2- El Squid Roe
Kitchen open from 9 am to 11 pm. Known for having an international kitchen, where you can find all sorts of food from Mexican to delicious pastas, El Squid Roe has some of the best steaks I've tried. Their Pablo's Pepper Steak is pure perfection. Angus medallions seared with rosemary and butter, topped off with mushrooms. But not just any mushrooms, these mushrooms were cooked in red wine and flambéed with brandy. Served with a side of mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. I've had this so many times and I never tire of it.
1- Chamuyo
Open from 5 pm to 10:30 pm. Another Argentinian concept where the main character is the grill master. They have a cute outdoor dining area with a very relaxed and refreshing atmosphere. The food is amazing, from their steaks, ribs to their sandwiches and desserts.
